About Me

Hello there!

My name is Madison Perez and I am a research and development specialist for Education Service Center Region 20 in the beautiful city of San Antonio, Texas. My primary work is with the Federal, State and Local Initiatives team where we promote and develop effective resources for students and their families, teachers, administrators, and communities to best serve our region. Previously, I was an AP Chemistry teacher and assistant softball coach, and science and softball still hold special places in my heart.

Prior to teaching, I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2018 with my bachelors of science degree in Health. This year, I am aiming to earn my masters degree in Applied Digital Learning from Lamar University and I hope to implement this degree and the knowledge accrued from it to revolutionizing the field of education.

I currently live in Cibolo, Texas with my husband and our 7 month old son, Max. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, hiking, all things sports, drawing, and spending time with friends and family, especially Max.
